Snow Ghost Express
The longest six-passenger express chairlift in Canada combined with the Ridge chairlift will send 10 riders to the top every 7 seconds! Named after the world famous snow covered trees, this $7M state-of-the-art Leitner-Poma chairlift will create a quick lift from the popular Ridge area.

Copper Kettle Phase II
This stunning development at Big White offers spectacular views of the Monashee Mountains, ski-to-your-door convenience and in-floor heating. These new luxurious three bedroom condominiums will be among the many new accommodations you can choose from this winter. Big White, with Canada's only totally ski-in/ski-out village is getting even better with 13 new developments which will create 335 individual units to choose from.

Happy Valley Beginner Area
Skiing and snowboarding for the first time is getting so much easier. A 450-foot Magic Carpet is being installed in the beginner area at the Happy Valley, replacing the handle-tow and nearly tripling the length of the beginner zone. This modern carpet lift takes the fear out of riding a lift and helps make skiing and snowboarding for the first time a breeze.

By popular demand, the Happy Valley Cafeteria and Moose Bistro will increase in size and seating. The Company Store is being removed to offer more seating and a great view of the skating rink.

WHAT'S NEW AT SILVER STAR

Alpine Meadows Quad Chairlift
The new chairlift at Silver Star will open up the beautiful runs and glade skiing found in the Attridge area. It only takes 5 minutes to get to the top of the mountain to take in the spectacular valley and lake views. The Alpine Meadows Chairlift will take you to hidden powder stashes that locals have known about for decades!

Snowbird Lodge
The much-anticipated Snowbird Lodge, due for completion this fall, will offer 54 luxurious suites ranging from studio to three bedroom units. The lodge provides true ski-in, ski-out access, underground parking and private hot tubs. This premier property will feature 'Club Snowbird' including such amenities as a gym, adult lounge and 24-seat theatre.

Learning Facilities
Taking care of kids at Silver Star is one of our number one priorities. That's why we are spending $200,000 this summer to upgrade the kids' facilities by adding a magic carpet to the Star Kids teaching area.

The Bulldog Hotel Silver Star
Putman Station has been purchased and will now become 'The Bulldog Hotel'. The hotel will be an extension of the renowned Bulldog Amsterdam. The ambiance will be that of the infamous Amsterdam 'Brown Bars' in a grand café setting, supported by the feel and entertainment of Austrian ski resorts.
